The Peaks are made in New Zealand from the proven Herculan® fibre (strong wool). Herculan® is a world-first technology which has enabled us to create something that has not been possible until now. This blend provides a solid balance of durability, comfort, warmth, and movement.

The Peak's design is shaped to the contours of your lower leg, ankle, and foot. This means the sock locks in place with minimal bunching and movement, resulting in maximum comfort and greatly reduced room for blistering. The foot-mapped design places padding in the high-contact areas and thinner weaves in between for contour and breathability.

You simply shouldn't put cheap tube socks on one of the most important parts of your body in the mountains. High-quality socks make a world of difference on hard-working feet, and the Peak are solid performers.

The Herculan® wool is spun using Nuyarn® technology, transforming 20-year lifespan strong wool into yarn fine enough to wear, for the first time.

This incredible, twist-free yarn has unprecedented benefits: durability, comfort, excellent moisture management, quicker drying times, more aeration, greater thermal retention and odour-resistance.

It is perfectly engineered for high-impact zones.

HERCULAN® outperforms conventional merino

The strength of the fibre means Herculan® wool smashes the Martindale Abrasion test - the number of rubs it can withstand in the heel and toe of the sock (1,066,667 rubs, that's 630% more than polyprop fleece).

Its high aeration creates excellent moisture management, which in turn reduces the chance of blisters during a long hunt by creating less friction.

Its exceptional abrasion resistance means the Peaks have more natural wool and less synthetic content, so the benefits of natural wool can be maintained: odour reduction, with less noise and less reflection for greater concealment.

This amazing wool repurposes strong wool, which is a by-product of the sheep and carpet industry, giving this resource another life.
