It's 16mm thickness makes it ideal for use where turned solid monolithic projectiles (copper/brass) are being used or energy at impact is above 4500 ft/lbs.

@ 500 Meters = 1.14 x 0.9 Mil       //   500 Yards = 4.3 x 3.4 MOA 
@ 1000 Meters = 0.57 x 0.45 Mil   //   1000 Yards = 2.1 x 1.7 MOA
